Movement Fun! Tuesdays 10-11 am Starting Nov. 19th!
Sarah will be setting up various movement based activities and will be available as a resource for any questions regarding motor development such as - when to teach my child to throw and catch. Get ideas for developmentally appropriate fun physical activities to do with children! Sarah is passionate about helping parents and caregivers facilitate active play and help children enjoy and develop movement skills. She founded Mind and Movement Partners to help introduce people to the concept of physical literacy. Like reading literacy, physical literacy opens doors to a lifetime of opportunities for movement engagement and well being!
Art in the Kitchen Weekdays
Art projects may be available in the kitchen area throughout the week - at staff's discretion. Free with admission.
Pick & Paint Items may be selected for painting in the kitchen as well. A small fee is required for this activity, please ask for assistance. Pick & Paint is available pending staff approval (usually at calmer times when the appropriate space is available for art.)
Most activities at Imagine are open ended so that children of a very wide age range may participate creatively and have fun together while learning from one another. When children are in a mixed age group setting, it intrinsically fosters learning in all areas (physical social, emotional and intellectual.) Activities at Imagine foster relationships among kids of all ages and abilities, babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children; everyone is unique, special and appreciated! The educational opportunities in this setting are unlimited. Program schedules may vary without prior notice. If an activity is cancelled without notice; we will try to offer a substitute activity.
