Fun for All Ages
0-100 Years Imagine is an ideal place to gather for people of any age! We have calm and active pursuits, and the open ended nature of imaginative play allows all ages to engage in their own way. This makes Imagine a fabulous place to hold birthday parties and gatherings of all kinds. Families with children spanning many years can all participate happily for hours in our play town upstairs, active play downstairs and outdoor "ocean side" areas. Adults may find themselves joining in or relaxing on comfortable seating.

Babies & Toddlers
0-2 Years For the very youngest there is a quiet separate room upstairs at the front of the building with plenty of baby toys and an adjoining nursing room. The large padded rug on the dance floor is also meant for infants and toddlers. Here you will find baby toys, sitting aids, a little ball pit, and a bar by the mirror to aid in pulling to a standing position and taking first steps. There are plenty of play opportunities throughout the space that the youngest children can enjoy including crawling mats, rhythm instruments, swings, sensory tables, doctor play, house play, tons of books in our library (including substantial sign language, Spanish, board books and educator/parenting books.) Meet with friends or consider hosting your playgroup or joining our playgroups (free with admission) for more social experiences.
Preschoolers
1-6 Years Favorites include: imaginative play stations (grocery, library, restaurant, bakery, health care,) ball pit, climbing, ramp, ride on toys, swings, rice sensory table, bounce house, train table, loft and house play. For a more consistent group of companions try joining one or more of our playgroups (included free with admission.) These informal social groups range from groups based on the child's age, to different languages, to new parents, nanny groups, grandparents, dads, etc. Keep in mind that it is likely to take time for a robust group to form and relationships to grow. Program options include ballet, parachute/circle time, more to come.
School Age
5-12 Years Play opportunities for this age group include more in depth imaginative play, and active play on larger equipment. Puppet shows may actually have a story line and plot, the child may take on the role of doctor, chef, grocer etc. other play options include: building with Pipeworks, Pick N' Paint, dancing, Lego construction, large climbing structure, scooters, game room, ping pong, air hockey, Foosball, art scavenger hunt, creating marble runs. For older children it is even more fun to meet and play with friends at Imagine. Participating in clubs (knitting, origami & art are current options) are great ways to learn and socialize for older children.
Teens
Teens Opportunities abound for volunteer & intern type work for teenagers. We are gathering contact information for tweens and teens who are interested in helping to care for children while parents attend various activities. We are hoping to begin hosting teen time events for this age group soon; as well as offering a teen lounge space.
Adults
Adults We offer a comfortable place to relax and meet friends while you watch your children, grandchildren or charges play. Our playgroups are meant to be supportive social experiences for parents, grandparents, and caregivers as well as for the children they care for. Consider joining a social or language playgroup with your child. Clubs are meant for sharing interests and talents with others at Imagine. Consider volunteering to lead or facilitate a club for older children or adults. CPR & first aid certification, art gallery, community night, space rental for meetings and groups, party venue, volunteer options, and "Friends of Imagine" are other opportunities available for adults. Concerts, dances, theatrical performances, poetry readings, book clubs, parent groups, crafting, actions for a greener future, and yoga, are a few examples of welcome facility uses. We are now open until 7pm four evenings/week to better accommodate a wider variety of uses. We would be happy to add more evening time as need arises - please let us know what you would like to see at Imagine (and if you can help us make it happen, even better!)
